Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Quality Third Shift Position.
a. Helps to understand and solve problems and quality issues in the process. Assists Set-Ups, Technicians, Technical Specialist, and Engineering with investigations as required.
b. Performs quality checks according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) or other authorized instructions.
c. Verifies gauges by using master checks as required.
d. Responds to quality issues from production.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties related to proper operation of forklifts as it relates to keeping incoming and outgoing materials handled and delivered in an efficient and safe manner. Essential duties are to drive a forklift to load and unload stock to and from trucks, delivering material to warehousing or stocking areas, replacing empty propane tanks on forklifts, performing routine safety and maintenance checks on forklifts. May also be required to break down and rebuild pallets consisting of manually moving stock from one pallet to another. General cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed as needed.
Provides production team with the practical expertise and skills for solving basic technical Problems. Assists in developing and maintaining records for future problem solving. Able to work With limited supervision, monitors improvement progress, troubleshooting of issues submitted to Production supervisor.
NSK is seeking a Material Handler to fill an open position at our HUB Plant in Franklin, IN.
The purpose of this position is to provide transportation support of pre-processed parts and finished goods to and from the manufacturing operations. There are openings for this position on:
3rd Shift (11:00p - 7:30a) and 2nd Shift (3:00p-11:30p)
Design, integrate, or improve manufacturing systems or related processes. Work with cross-functional teams to refine product designs to increase producibility and decrease costs.
The Segment Marketing Team identifies and leads transformational programs based on deep knowledge of customer needs to drive growth in existing markets, and/ or pave the way for entry into new industries, channels, or geographies within the Americas.
Responsible for becoming the EMR-A and SMR–A for AHQ: conduct 6S, Safety and Environmental audits at site; become a trainer for new hire EHS orientation. Attend EHS and ISO 14001 CFT Meetings – maintain minutes. Become part of NSK Americas EHS Environmental Management Representative Assistant Team and Safety Management Representative Assistant attending EHS Round Tables.
Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems throughout manufacturing plant. Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment and facilities.
